Portrait sessions Utrecht

You are very welcome in my daylight studio, located in a beautiful historic building in Utrecht, to create a portrait together. This space gives me complete freedom to craft a unique portrait.

I work exclusively with natural light and my analogue medium format camera. A session takes about two hours, which I find to be the perfect amount of time: we can start with a drink, then go through the outfits to see which ones work best, and still have plenty of time left for photographing. During the shoot, we’ll try out different compositions and settings (standing, sitting, at a table, etc.) to discover what works best.

After the session, I develop and scan the film rolls and make an initial selection. I’ll send this selection to you (with a watermark), so you can take your time choosing which images you’d like to receive as final edits. The price for the shoot, including two edited portraits, is €275 excl. VAT per person. You’ll find more details in this info sheet.

If this all sounds good, you can reserve a time slot via this link. My studio is located at Grave van Solmsstraat 2, Utrecht. If possible, I’d appreciate it if you could book a morning slot; that’s when the light in my studio is at its very best.

After your booking, I’ll of course send you clothing tips. I’ll also provide the invoice in advance, which should be paid before the session. Any additional images or prints can be ordered afterwards.
