Analog portrait photography

At my daylight studio in Utrecht, I host a workshop focused on analog daylight portrait photography. The day is designed for a small group of up to 4 people, allowing us to really dive deep. You’ll be welcomed at 10:00 AM with coffee or tea before we get started. We begin by discussing your work using the prints and inspiration images you bring along. This helps us understand where you are in your process and where you'd like to go.

After a delicious lunch, we’ll start photographing. You’ll take portraits of each other using the natural light in my studio. You’re also welcome to explore and shoot in the historic building and large garden. I’ll be observing, sharing insights about how to read space and light, demonstrating how I work, and how I guide and direct my sitters.

In the weeks following the workshop, I’ll schedule a 30-minute online follow-up session with each participant individually. We’ll discuss your results, reflect on your choices, and talk about what you’ve learned. It’s also a chance to ask any questions that came up after the workshop.

If you work in the creative sector, you can get reimbursed

• If you cancel 4 weeks or more in advance: 75% refund
• If you cancel less than 4 weeks in advance: 25% refund
